FEATURE ARTICLEAfter all the years of being taught "Stranger Danger," it may come as a surprise to know that the opposite comes more recommended. In child abduction cases, most perpetrators are known to the victim. Therefore, it is important to know who your child is with, to be aware of who may have access to your child, to understand that a child's definition of "stranger" may be different than yours, and so on. For example: Would your child know that accepting a ride from an acquaintance, perhaps someone you regularly chat with when you see them at the store, is unsafe?

iPhone Used To Hack Wireless Networks
The company mails the phone in a package with a long-life battery where it sits in the mail room and eventually gets returned. While in the company premises it scans all available wireless networks for vulnerabilities. Although it may stay in the mail room for several days they say it only needs a few minutes to gather all the information needed for them to further break into that company. Read … MORE

Top 4 TIPS of WiFi Security Guy
1. How does wireless networking work? Wireless networking is just like walkie-talkies. Whatever one walkie-talkie transmits, all the walkie-talkies in the area can pick up. Wireless networking is exactly the same. Whatever your computer is transmitting on a wireless network, every computer in the area can pick that up and see it. This includes your login names, passwords, emails, sites you visit, and account information. You may remember going to the mall about 10 years ago when it was the fad to have walkie-talkies when you split up into several groups. You’d use the walkie-talkies to coordinate eating together and meeting at different places. You may remember times when you would suddenly hear some other group of people on your walkie-talkie. They were doing the same thing as you, they brought walkie-talkies to keep in touch, and whatever they say, you can hear. And you also know whatever you say they can hear. Wireless networks are exactly the same.
2. The six (6) WiFi Myths of a Wireless Network
I’ve ran into a series of misconceptions over the years about wireless security and I compiled them together into one complete list.
Myth: It takes expensive computer equipment to get my personal information off of a wireless network.

He was admitted to a local Salt Lake City hospital around 10:30 a.m. on Friday due to a serious leg infection.

My thoughts and opinions are well known when it comes to children using these kinds of services, when adults are allowed to roam free in these virtual worlds… none of our children are safe!!! and for that matter adults as well are not really safe from the luring eyes of predators and pedophiles on these kinds of systems, that have no real control of what is really happening behind the scenes… including losing your privacy!

The report reveals how news outlets like Time Magazine, Business Week, and the RFID Journal were used as unwitting pawns in a VeriChip scheme to spread misinformation about the cancer studies. Since research linking the product to cancer first surfaced last year, each of these publications has repeated misstatements from VeriChip company executives, in many cases printing the inaccurate statements verbatim and unchallenged.

But Debbie, which is not her real name, is one of thousands of young American girls who authorities say have been abducted or lured from their normal lives and made into sex slaves. While many Americans have heard of human trafficking in other parts of the world — Thailand, Cambodia, Latin America and eastern Europe, for example — few people know it happens here in the United States.

As parents and grandparents, many of us worry about what our teenagers do online and offline. Many prefer to limit the dangers online that our teens face!
But, we are also very smart and understand that if a teenager feels pressure or just plain wants to do something, more times than not, they will do exactly what we have forbidden or asked them not to do.

Then, you suddenly start getting these emails about the perfect dating website where you can find your “Perfect match”. You read further, hope finally starting to flare within you. The email states that you and your potential partner take personality quizzes and answer questions so that your personalities are put together for a “perfect match!” Wow, what a great idea!! How do I block mySpace and similar websites?
There are many ways to accomplish this task, but first lets find out if you really want to completely block sites like these or if want to restrict access by children, or allow teens access and monitor their online behavior. The latter choice/option being the preferred way to go. You know as well as I do, if you make restrictions on teens or you stop them from doing something as a form of punishment they will find a way to undermine your authority. They will find a way or sneak online somewhere else. And the possible outcome could be very tragic.
Another option to help teens, is by becoming an active partner in the mySpace craze. Make your own profile find out what all the excitement is about and show them how you would surf and add friends and why you as a parent would also want to make correct choices and be safe (adults need to be safe also). Teach them how to use common sense and show each of your children the proper way to enjoy the Internet. It’s a great teaching moment!

FINAL THOUGHTSWhat I learned is that we are pretty much the same type of people, (Responsible) we were both raised by loving parents and grandparents that taught us both about being good and honest, teaching us about respect, and to love one another and that our families come first right after God and our Country... and that this great land was built of the principles of our Forefathers... and that Justice will prevail and that the truth will set us FREE! These are great lessons to learn when you are young and your parents can only do so much to impart these life lessons, then it is left up to us to choose for ourselves how we treat our fellow man... and HOW we SERVE them as well!!!
